We've been building and implementing systems for Australian manufacturers since 2002. Here are some of the projects we're most proud of.
MaxiPARTS, one of Australia's largest heavy vehicle parts distributors, needed better inventory visibility at customer sites — the branch-facing locations where technicians access parts day to day. Unitracesoft implemented MaxiStock, a tailored inventory tracking solution, to bring those sites under real-time management.
The project proved the model. MaxiStock evolved into StockHive and StockBee — our standard inventory and asset management platform now used by clients across multiple industries.
IVECO's Dandenong workshop manages a substantial parts inventory to keep heavy vehicles serviced and on the road. Unitracesoft deployed StockHive as the cloud inventory platform and StockBee on dedicated handheld scanners to handle parts receiving, picking, and stocktakes on the workshop floor.
A number of Victorian councils use StockHive and StockBee to manage maintenance parts and equipment assets across their waste management depot operations — workshops tracking vehicle parts and tooling for rubbish collection and fleet maintenance.
Unitracesoft installed NEXUS10 Vision across two production lines at a Kraft manufacturing plant. The system performs automated visual inspection of products as they come off the line — checking for date printing accuracy and product defects — with integrated reject station control to remove non-conforming items automatically.
Heinz deployed NEXUS10 Handheld across warehouse operations to track product movements — truck loading manifests and stock control on a rugged mobile device.
Dual-camera visual inspection deployed at a Bega plant, covering two simultaneous product streams on the line.
NEXUS10 Vision deployed at a Shell Oil plant for production line visual inspection with reject control.
Product Coding Management with SSCC pallet tracking ensuring all pallets are labelled to industry standards.
A Touch of Glass is a Melbourne-based glass manufacturing and processing business. Unitracesoft deployed NEXUS10 for production line job tracking combined with StockHive as the cloud data platform — giving the business real-time visibility over jobs moving through the line and the data to manage production flow.
This is the clearest example of both Unitracesoft product lines working together: NEXUS10 capturing what's happening on the floor, StockHive holding and surfacing that data for management and reporting.
BorgCraft uses NEXUS10 PCM to manage product coding on the production line — controlling printing of package information and ensuring every product leaving the line is correctly coded and labelled to specification.
The Country Fire Authority (CFA) requires annual inspection of water hydrants across its network — a compliance-driven field operation where inspection status, location, and condition must be recorded and kept auditable.
Unitracesoft implemented the ProofSafe integration for this project, using ProofSafe's mobile forms and geo-location capability to capture hydrant inspection data in the field, with StockHive providing the asset register and tracking compliance status of each hydrant over time. Field crews use ProofSafe on their phones to complete inspection forms at each hydrant location — GPS coordinates are captured automatically.
ProofSafe provides digital forms and a web portal for field-based compliance, inspection, and safety workflows. Unitracesoft built an integration between StockHive and ProofSafe, extending the combined platform to cover geo-tracking of assets in the field and compliance audit trails alongside inventory and asset data.
The partnership means clients can use ProofSafe's mobile forms and geo-location capability together with StockHive's inventory and asset records — in a single connected workflow, without double-handling data. The CFA hydrant inspection project is the lead example of this integration in production.
